May, 25th 2009 jTrace v1.0 is released:
- v1.0 was built using jQuery 1.3.2
- jTrace has been tested on Safari 3, Firefox 3, IE7, IE8, and Opera 9.6
- A standalone version is availabe on the download page. The standalone version does not require jQuery to be included in your project (jQuery 1.3.2 is included in the jTrace.min.js file. The standalone jTrace was coded to be compatible with other libraries (it shouldn't break prototype when using '$(...)' in your prototype scripts).
- jTrace is not IE6 friendly
- Animation may 'glitch' a bit when animating between "wide" and "original"
- On sites that use layering (z-indexing) the jTrace window may be under one of your layers.
- On older systems, jTrace may be somewhat laggy
- Remember, jTrace does not save a log, once you refresh the page, your old log is gone.
